I've been sick.

I've been sick. Very, very sick. Slowly I am getting better, but I'm still am finding myself in bed for large portions of the day.

The Mistake contest ended long ago. The answer is that there were three (count them three) mistakes in that square. Beth, I've got prizes for you at next knitting group!

Though I was surprised that my work was so sloppy, the errors I made are pretty common when working with cable patterns. I simply mis-crossed the cables, putting the wrong "rope" in front. Had I caught the errors right after knitting, I could have dropped the stitches down and corrected it. But after you've bound off or the errors are way far down in your work, it's better to do an after-the-fact fix. Yarn Harlot does and excellent job explaining both of these methods if you're interested in learning more.
